Reports

Reports

As cities become more connected, they allow for the implementation of innovative services and technologies that aim to improve the quality of life for residents and make cities more efficient and sustainable. However, with the increase in connectivity and technology comes the need to ensure the safety and privacy of citizens. This is where reporting comes in.

Reporting is a way for residents of connected cities to report any problems or incidents that occur in their immediate environment. This can include security incidents such as burglaries or assaults, as well as environmental issues like gas leaks or abandoned waste in the streets. By reporting these incidents, residents can contribute to the safety and improvement of their city.

There are different ways to report an incident in a connected city. Most cities have a dedicated mobile app or website where residents can file a report with a few clicks. It is also possible to report an incident by calling the city’s reporting service or by visiting a reporting center in person.

Using Sweepin’s reporting module, it is possible to choose the type of problem and provide important information for municipal agents. Reporting categories are fully customizable to meet the needs of the city.

Once an alert has been filed, it can be found in a tab “My current requests”, which allows to follow its progress.

Reports can be anonymous or not, depending on the preferences of the person filing the report. In any case, it is important to provide as much information as possible to allow authorities to effectively process the report. This can include details on the location of the incident, any involved or witness individuals, and any other relevant information.

Reporting is an essential tool in connected cities. It allows residents to contribute to the safety and improvement of their city, while protecting their privacy. If you are a resident of a connected city, do not hesitate to report any incidents that seem important to you; it can help make your city safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
