Your medical equipment is equipped with a geolocation tag, enabling staff to access it quickly and easily thanks to an intuitive, detailed interface.

An intuitive interface for equipment tracking

Sweepin provides staff with a PC-based interface, also available on smartphones, with the option of coupling it with a mobile application. On this interface, staff can find the list of tracked equipment, in list or map mode, with filters to simplify searches.

This enables staff to see where the equipment they need is located, and to get there easily. To do this, the “get there” button generates a QR code to be flashed on a smartphone. This QR code displays the shortest route to the required equipment.

The “report a problem” button can be used to indicate that the equipment is not at the location indicated.

The map view displays a 3D plan of the building, showing the position of the equipment. This view makes it easy for staff to find their way around.

A detailed interface for administration

from this interface, the facility administration can access numerous datas concerning equipment such as :

  • equipment utilization analysis
  • fleet management
  • equipment zone entry and exit alerts

The interface is connected to the CMMS, with automatic or manual synchronization. Coupling with all Sweepin’s other geolocation modules is possible.

Equipment

To implement this solution, several items of equipment are required.

Your medical equipment must first be fitted with transmitters (tags or beacons). These transmitters are glued to the equipment. They have an autonomy of 3 years and can be personalized (colors and inscriptions).

Receivers (anchors) are then placed on the ceiling or high up in the building, approximately every 30 meters. Installation of these anchors requires no modification to the building’s electrical infrastructure, and they are battery-powered with a 4-year autonomy.

Gateways, which communicate with the anchors and the Sweepin server, are also required to operate this solution. They are plugged into the mains and connected to the network via ethernet or WIFI. One gateway is installed per service. A POE connection is also possible.

Our software integrates seamlessly with your CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Active Directory.

We provide a file detailing the technical architecture of the solution, which is submitted to your establishment for validation via a secure procedure.

This procedure has already been successfully implemented in numerous healthcare establishments.

In addition, we provide a simplified solution in SaaS mode for ease of use.
