SDED 52 request

The Syndicat Départemental d’Énergie et des Déchets de Haute-Marne called on Sweepin to develop a mobile application to disseminate information about its two main activities: household waste treatment and public electricity distribution. The aim is also to facilitate exchanges with the department’s citizens, and to react more quickly in the event of a malfunction in the public service.

The SDED 52 mobile application

The SDED52 app is a comprehensive application that facilitates exchanges between SDED, elected officials and citizens. Its various modules are designed for information and community living.

First, users can create an account on the app. From this account, they can then report any problems on the public highway using the reporting module. Once the problem has been reported to SDED, users can track its progress and are notified by cell phone of its status (resolved or not).

The “mes services déchets” module enables users to find out about upcoming waste collection days according to their address. A sorting guide is also available, to help citizens sort their waste correctly.

A service also allows users to enter their license plate number to find out how many times they are allowed to pass through local waste collection centers.

The “mobility” module gives users access to a list and map of all the electric charging points in the region for recharging their electric car.

The “around me” module enables users to find a list of nearby electrical charging points and waste collection centers, either by means of separate lists, or by viewing them on a map where filters can be applied by category.

An eco-gestures sheet is available on the app. It lists 10 effective gestures that are easy to put into practice on a daily basis to take care of the environment.

It is also possible to contact the SDED directly via a button on the app.

Last but not least, the news section keeps users informed in real time of local news.

The app advantages

Users in the Haut-Marnais region have access to a wide range of citizen services, enabling them to organize their day-to-day activities more effectively, particularly when it comes to waste management. SDED 52 can easily transmit information in real time, but also act quickly in the event of a problem reported by citizens.

The SDED 52 app is a free application, easily downloadable from the Android and Apple stores, that will improve your daily life in Haute-Marne!
